About Lakeview Dental & Wellness

Dr. Jake Fanning is a general dentist with extensive continuing education in restorative dentistry, including minimally invasive restorations, crowns and bridges, and biomimetic restorations. He also provides root canal therapy, gum disease treatment, and pediatric dentistry, allowing him to care for patients of all ages under one roof.

Dr. Fanning takes an anxiety-conscious approach to care, building trust with his patients through transparency and empathy. He is dedicated to creating positive, welcoming dental experiences and believes in clear, honest communication without pressure or unnecessary treatment. His focus on long-term oral health, combined with a calm and reassuring demeanor, helps patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their care.

In his practice, Dr. Fanning relies on evidence-based treatment planning and personalized recommendations, prioritizing patient education and informed decision-making. He holds himself to high standards of professionalism and integrity in every aspect of his work.

Beyond the office, Dr. Fanning is dedicated to giving back to his community. He has volunteered with Mission First, an organization focused on providing dental care to underserved populations, and has supported Special Olympics events to promote access to healthcare for athletes. He is also an active member of the Rotary Club, reflecting his ongoing commitment to service, leadership, and strengthening the local community.

Dr. Fanning speaks English fluently. Outside of the office, he enjoys exercising, traveling, and exploring new places, with a particular interest in experiencing the unique culture and cuisine of different communities. He values spending quality time with family and friends and maintains a strong commitment to lifelong learning, always seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth. Dr. Fanning also enjoys spending time with his Boykin Spaniel, Fisher.

At your first visit, you’ll check in with our front desk and relax in our waiting room. You may need to fill out a few forms if you haven’t already done so online. Then, We will bring you back to one of our operating rooms when it’s time for your checkup.

We will perform an oral exam, then take X-rays and conduct a wellness scan to check for oral health issues. If your mouth looks healthy enough, One of our hygienists will clean, polish, and floss your teeth.

Afterwards, We will discuss his findings with you, and whether you need any additional follow-ups. You’ll check in with our team once more to schedule your next visit, then you’ll be all done!
